Suman Bhuchar has been working in theatre for over four decades. She uses her personal journey to look at the rich canon of South Asian Theatre in the UK. This will lead into a discussion/Q&A on the importance of representation.  

Panellists:  Rianna Simons, Black Plays Archive Coordinator, Archive, National Theatre & Professor Jerri Daboo, Professor of Performance, University of Exeter 

Bhuchar Boulevard’s projects hold up a mirror to our common humanity. They amplify the voices and stories of South Asian artists. This initiative supports the development of a British South Asian theatre playwriting archive.
