Almost 300 new affordable homes - including more than 100 family-sized homes - have been given the go-ahead by Tower Hamlets Council. Members of the council's Strategic Development Committee last week approved changes to the Bow Common Gas Works development to provide an additional 210 affordable homes, including 67 homes with three or four bedrooms.
