Pathshala South Asian Media Institute presents an exhibition of photography. This centres around the theme of ‘hope’. It showcases the vibrant spirit and resilience of Bangladesh on an international stage. Through photography, they aim to capture the diverse beauty of Bangladesh and convey stories of hope and positivity. The work by Pathshala students celebrates the strength and optimism of the country though a series of inspiring narratives.
The name Pathshala comes from the ancient education system that prevailed in South Asia. It brings to mind classes held underneath a lofty tree. It conjures up learning spaces without walls, open skies and unending horizons. Pathshala allows students to explore the world of visual storytelling. It gives them the knowledge and opportunity to ask questions and to think outside the box. Students often work on collaborative projects together with the visiting faculty. This enhances each student's learning experience. It complements their learning on both theoretical and practical levels.
