Synopsis: The play follows the story of eight characters. All are in their senior years. It follows their journeys from loneliness and isolation to well-being and connectedness. It is a testament to how lifestyle changes can help overcome depression.
Love and friendship are key to this transformation. Meeting up, making plans and helping one another through group activities and physical exercise all play a part.
Hilarity ensues when Ameena is mistakenly assumed to be pregnant. There is also romance in the air between an older bachelor Moni, and Meena, a singer.
The play ends with the affirmation that the characters are, ‘retired but not redundant’!
