Synopsis: An autistic child fights against all the odds and many obstacles that life throws at her. These include difficulties at school, socially and at home. She is also feels anxious and insecure because of the war in Ukraine. Her ability to overcome these obstacles is only possible through acceptance and love.
This production highlights the need for empathy, inclusion, acceptance and love. This is particularly true of the more vulnerable members of society including young people with special needs.
This production uses dance to convey an important message. Namely, that love can help one can find the eternal beauty, peace and essence of life. It can help overcome problems and challenges, both amongst individuals and nations.
About the Company: Adity Roy is a London based dancer, choreographer and teacher. She trained in Bharatanatyam Indian dance. She has performed in the UK and abroad. She has choreographed an array of work in schools and for the community. She teaches dance movements to neurodiverse children with a variety of special needs.
