Synopsis: Set in post-lockdown UK ‘Extramarital’, 60 percent of which is in English, is a light-hearted play within a play. The story follows the extramarital affairs of two couples who take the love and strength in their relationships for granted. They are bored, and search for excitement and pleasure elsewhere.
As rehearsals for the play descend into chaos, slap-stick comedy is on show along with a glimpse of the drama ‘back-stage’. The parallels between the actors’ lives on and off the stage become clearer. The line between reality and fiction gets blurred.
The play ends with the main characters realising the value of their existing relationships. This entertaining romp will give the audience food for thought.
