Get involved with adult social care
A core aim in our Adult social care strategy and vision is to co-produce services with the help of our residents and external partners.
What is co-production?
The definition of co-production varies but essentially means involving people, who use (and have used) our services, equally from the start of a project or intervention.

How does co-production work?
Co-production usually occurs when:
- a social worker helps a person design their own support on a one-to-one basis
- a team manager asks people with lived experience to help improve their services
- people with lived experience work with staff and other stakeholders to design, develop, deliver or review a policy, strategy or service.
