Community led cycling projects
A number of cycling projects in Tower Hamlets are led by local community groups and other organisations. The details of some of these projects are shown below:
Tower Hamlets Wheelers are a local cycling campaign group, affiliated to the London Cycling Campaign. The Wheelers aim to encourage more people to cycle, improve conditions for cyclists and to raise the profile of cycling in the East End. The group run monthly cycle maintenance workshops to help equip residents with the skills to maintain their own bikes. The Wheelers also run cycling community projects and organise social rides and events to bring cyclists in the area together. To find out more visit the Wheeler's website.
