Small Grants Programme | Previous awards

The Mayor’s Small Grants Programme Awards are made following a fair and transparent assessment and decision-making process.

Organisations applied through our online grants portal. Projects are then assessed by trained assessors, using criteria to provide scores.

Following assessment, recommendations on which organisations to fund were based on:

how they scored
how they met the needs of the theme, schemes and priorities
equalities considerations
geographic spread.

The Director of Strategy, Improvement and Transformation decides on grant awards under decision-making powers from Cabinet.
