Careers Young WorkPath provides impartial careers information, advice and guidance to

  • young people between 13 to 19 years
  • young people up to 25 years if they have special educational needs and an education, health and care plan (EHCP). 

We work in schools and colleges in the borough and offer careers guidance interviews to

  • young people with SEND/SEN
  • looked after young people
  • young people working with the Youth Justice Service
  • other young people deemed at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment and Training)
  • NEET young people.

We offer advice and guidance on careers, aiming to help them achieve their goals. We help young people with things like

  • making choices about your future
  • getting into education (college, sixth form, university)
  • getting into training (study programmes, including pre-apprenticeships and traineeships)
  • getting into work (apprenticeships and CVs and interviews) and more.

Young WorkPath Careers Advisers are working across all schools and colleges in the borough.

For young people who are NEET (not in employment, education or training) we offer telephone, video or face to face interview appointments.

Face to face interviews are by appointment only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at our drop in Centre at the Idea Store, Watney Market on 260 Commercial Rd, E1 2FB.
