Progress
How the project is progressing
The project for the Bygrove Primary School extension went out to tender in November 2009 and, since then, work has progressed rapidly with the extension nearing completion and a nature garden designed and planted for the children.
August 2010
During the six week summer holiday period, the contractor made good progress on the exterior extension and internal classroom alteration works. This was a busy period on-site as the main classroom areas as a critical section of the works had to be ready for occupation by the beginning of the school term. The contractor was able to complete both the new extension works and the internal classrooms by the beginning of the school term. The main extension and internal classroom areas were handed over to the school and full occupation of all of the works areas was taken at the beginning of term.
