Halls and venues for hire

  1. Tarling east community centre
    Description
    The Tarling centre is a multi purpose community facility providing services in the Shadwell area. From cooking workshops to Bollywood dancing we offer a range of activities for all ages. The Rooted Forum are also based in this centre and offer a range of activities for young people including youth sessions, homework club, martial arts and boxing.
  2. The Ecology Pavilion, Mile End Park
    Description
    The Ecology Pavilion provides an ideal large contemporary space within natural wild surroundings for those seeking a venue that offers tranquillity, beauty and exceptional value.
  3. The Space
    Description
    The Space is an atmospheric, multi-purpose arts centre set in a delightful and architecturally significant 19th century Presbyterian church. We are available for hire for arts events, rehearsals, film and photo shoots, conferences, Christmas parties, wedding receptions and more.
  4. Tiller Centre
    Description
    This sports centre has a hall available for private hire.
  5. Tramshed Community Centre
    Description
    Formerly a council engineering depot, this building has now been converted into the Tramshed community centre. It is available for hire, please call the above number for further details.
  6. Tredegar Community Centre
    Description
    Children's birthday parties for under 13 year olds finishing before 6pm is £20.00 per hour plus refundable £200 deposit. Approximately 20 guests only. Fully Accessible facilities

  8. Victoria Park Baptist Church
    Description
    Baptist Church and Registered Charity 1146557. Hall with catering facilities is available to hire. Capacity 100. Alcohol-free venue. Please call the number above or visit the website for further details and price information. Main service on Sunday 10.30am.
  9. Whitechapel Gallery
    Description
    Whitechapel Gallery offers you a unique setting for away days, evening receptions and hybrid events. You will also have the expert guidance of an event planner as part of the hire.
  10. Whitechapel Sports Centre
    Description
    This sports centre's main sports hall is available to hire for private functions.
  11. Wodenham Gardens Community Room
    Description
    A small community room suitable for meetings and small group activities.
  12. York Hall
    Description
    The hall is available for hire for: weddings (capacity 450 people), parties/ discos (capacity 700 people), seated meetings (capacity 900 people), professional sporting events (capacity 1200 people).
  13. Zander court community club room
    Description
    Zander court club room is vibrant community centre based un the heart of Bethnal Green. Hosting coffee mornings, homework clubs, art sessions and bingo nights weekly. With a main hall, kitchen facilities and small community garden.
