Bringing together a diverse range of artists across multiple mediums, Resistance: Protest and Liberation Through the Lens is a thought-provoking photography exhibition that traces the visual language of resistance to contemporary contexts. Anchored by powerful photography from the Altab Ali protest marches, this exhibition expands into new territories, showcasing contemporary artists who challenge traditional documentary approaches.
Through experimental, conceptual and mixed media photography, these artists reinterpret the act of protest and struggle for liberation through their own personal lens, offering fresh perspective on activism, identity and resilience.
On show at the Brady Arts and Community Centre for one month, this exhibition invites you to reflect on the past while engaging with the evolving visual narratives of dissent. Resistance: Protest and Liberation Through the Lens is a space for dialogue, remembrance and inspiration.
