My Father's Secrets is an intimate, at times funny and thought-provoking film that focuses on a family's journey to reconciliation after facing the trauma of the Holocaust. Based on the autobiographical novel by Michel Kichka.
The film will be followed by a post-screening discussion led by UK Jewish Film’s education manager Rachel Burns and filmmaker Jes Benstock.
Jes Benstock has a background in theatre and comedy and has directed internationally recognised and award-winning documentaries, short fiction and music promos. He currently making commissioned films in East London and developing his first animated VR project.
