An evening of soul-stirring performances. Enjoy the captivating sounds of qawwali rock by Irfan Ahmed and the D6 Band. As well as the melodious nasheeds presented by the talented Message Cultural Group. This musical gathering celebrates the fusion of traditional and contemporary music with artistry and faith.

Formed in 1999 Message Cultural Group had a vision. To use the power of singing and theatre to inspire, educate, and entertain audiences. Their mission? They aim to spread positive messages. That connect with people from all walks of life, fostering a sense of unity and understanding.

Irfan Ahmed and the D6 Band’s music fuses the classical elegance of qawwali with modern music. Using traditional compositions with fresh harmonies. They create music that is both nostalgic and ground breaking.

What is qawwali music? qawwali is a form of devotional music that originated in South Asia. Characterised by its poetic lyrics, rhythmic melodies, and spiritual themes. It has deep roots in Sufi tradition and is often performed at Sufi shrines and gatherings.

What is nasheeds? Nasheeds are acapella songs that are religious and moral recitations. The word "nasheed" is Arabic for "chants". Found in many languages, including English, Malay, Urdu, Bangla and Turkish. Nasheeds are often upbeat, spiritual, and motivational. Nasheeds are more than songs - they're a powerful tool for conveying messages of faith, love, and unity.
