Design a Christmas card competition 2024

Design a Christmas card competition 2024

With half term around the corner, and Christmas not far behind, talented primary school children in Tower Hamlets are being invited to help design the council’s corporate Christmas cards.

Young artists are invited to spread some festive cheer by entering this year’s competition to design exclusive Christmas card covers which may feature on cards sent out by the Executive Mayor, Chief Executive, and the Corporate Director, Children’s Services.

Entrants are encouraged to be inventive and draw, paint or collage a personal card with a seasonal and borough theme.

Lutfur Rahman, Mayor of Tower Hamlets, said:  “Our annual Christmas competition is an opportunity for all primary school children to demonstrate their creativity by designing a unique, Tower Hamlets-themed card that captures the spirit of the season.

“We look forward to seeing how each entrant spreads festive cheer through their art. Good luck to all the participants.”
