Couples looking to tie the knot this year in East London can take advantage of our new venue – The Garden Suite – based at a grade II listed building with beautiful historic features.
Tower Hamlets Council is opening its doors to the newly renovated Garden Suite based at St Georges Town Hall in Cable Street, where you can have your marriage ceremony and party all under one roof.
The Garden Suite can house up to 80 guests and is a beautiful modern, airy, space with a balcony overlooking St Georges Park. You can use the space to bring your own food, drink, and décor and have your first toast, cake slice, or even first dance, surrounded by your loved ones.
Whether you're planning a wedding or a civil partnership, St Georges Town Hall provides a range of options to suit your needs from enhanced celebrations to basic legal registrations. Other rooms available include:
- The Tower Suite is the largest and most traditional room on offer and can accommodate up to 200 guests. There is a large aisle for couples to make their grand entrance and a dressing room for last minute touch ups.
- The Hamlet Suite is a smaller, more contemporary ceremony room which can accommodate 20 guests and can be made smaller for more intimate ceremonies.
You can also choose a wedding venue that is licensed in Tower Hamlets. The advantage of one of these venues is you can have your ceremony and celebrations from a meal to dancing all under one roof.
