Main stage

The main stage will once again host a formidable musical line-up of international and UK-based artists, hosted by Ronnie Mirza and BBC Asian Network's Nadia Ali.

This year's headliner is the global pop sensation Imran. A versatile composer and singer, his songs have featured in hit films such as Samraat; the King Is Here and Anupam. Chart topping hits include Emon Ekta Tumi Chai, Bolte Bolte Cholte Cholte and Amar Kache Tumi Onnorokom. At the mela, his debut UK performance, Imran will treat you to classic hits and songs from his latest album.

Joining us from Sylhet, is the hugely popular and much loved folk singer Lovely Deb. Her set will take you through all the Sylheti greats. Emerging star Belly Afroz, is a powerful performer, who knows how to captivate a live audience. Be ready to be mesmerised as Belly blasts out popular folk songs.

Other key performers include established favourites Alaur Rahman, Hashi Rani, Amir Muhhammad and Suzanna Ansar, plus rising urban star Nish as well as a number of talented artists with a range of Bengali inspired traditional and contemporary music.

Internationally acclaimed Naz and Bolly Flex are back to showcase some dynamic dance moves inspired by classic Bollywood styles, but with a contemporary twist.
