The 2018 Boishakhi Mela attracted some of the biggest names in Bangla music and dance wowed an audience of over 40,000 across the day with headline acts including the renowned Chirkutt and Ashik from Bangladesh.
Other highlights included singers Gouri Choudhury, Mumzy Stranger, Baul Abdul Shohid and Shatabdi Gar as well as dance performances from the acclaimed Taal Torongo led by China Choudhuri and Showmi Das Dance Company as well as the energetic Naz & Bolly Flex.
