Applications for Approved Venues

Public Notices in accordance with the Marriage Act 1949 (section 26(1)(Bb)) as amended by the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act 2013, Civil Partnership Act 2004 (section 6(3a)(A), Civil Partnership Act 2004 (section 6A(3C), The Marriages and Civil Partnership (Approved Premises) Regulations 2005.

Notice is hereby given that application has been received for the following premises to be licensed for the solemnisation of marriages and the registration of civil partnerships.

The application and accompanying plans can be inspected at Tower Hamlets Register Office, St Georges Town Hall, 236 Cable Street, London E1 0BL during the hours of 9.30am to 11.30am and 2pm to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Any person wishing to object to the grant of any approval may do so in writing, with reasons of the objection, within 21 days of the date of publication of the notice. Objections should be addressed to the Proper Officer at the above address.

I, Vicki Caress, Solicitor on behalf of The Gun, 27 Cold Harbour, London E14 9NS, give notice that I have applied to the Proper Officer of The London Borough of Tower Hamlets for approval under the above Act as the premises where civil ceremonies may take place.

Any person wishing to inspect the application and plans of the premises may do so at the Register Office, St Georges Town Hall, 236 Cable Street, London E1 0BL Monday to Friday 9.00am-4.30pm.

Any person wishing to object to the grant of approval may do so in writing, with reasons for the objection, within twenty-one days of the date of publication of the notice. Objections should be sent to the Proper Officer at the above address.
