If you already have the authenticator, you do not need to download it again. 

Once the app has been downloaded follow the process below: 

Click on Accept – Click on Continue – Choose between Add Work or School Account or Scan QR Code. 

To login using your work account, you need to select the Add work or school account and use your corporate full email address e.g., someone@towerhamlets.gov.uk and your email password, the same email and password used to access the Bridge. 

If you would like to login using the QR Code, click on Scan a QR Code. It may be needed 2 devices to facilitate the login. 

On iOS devices, click on the plus sign + on the top right. 

On Android devices, click on Scan a QR code. Go back to the My Sign-Ins on the web page. 

On the My Sign-Ins web page, the QR code will be on the screen, and you will be able to scan it with the Authenticator app. QR codes are individual and cannot be used for more than one person or device. 

Point your device to the QR code and the scanner will read it. The authenticator scan will look like the image below: 

If you are not able to scan the QR code with the Authenticator app, go to the My Sign-Ins on the web page (as on the step 3.4) and click on Can’t scan Image? Under the QR code on the web page.  

The Account name and security/secret key will appear under the QR code. They need to be entered manually or you can click on the icon at the end of each line and it will copy the information – copy one line at a time. Account name and security/secret codes are individual and cannot be used for more than one person or device. 

Once the account has been added on the Authenticator app. The One-Time password is a 6-digit code that has changes every 30 seconds.  

Add the 6-digit code on the web page and click on Next. 

Add the One-time password code on the Web page on My Sign-Ins.
