Banner

The Parenting and Adult Education (PAE) team coordinate courses, programmes, and employment pathways for families with children from birth to 19 years old or up to 25 years old for those with Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND).

Our focus offer is on enabling Early Steps into parenting and education through:

  • Increasing parenting understanding and knowledge
  • Access to education and training
  • Employability and good job opportunities

Who we support

Our programmes and courses target local families with children who are registered with a Family Hub or Children and Family Centre. We work with different organisations to ensure that we deliver to meet the needs of our families.

Our offer

We offer a variety of programmes and courses which are delivered on a termly basis through classroom-based training, an online virtual platform, or a mix of both depending on your needs.

We are unique in our offer as we provide on-site crèche facilities whilst you access our services. Please note that there are limited spaces available, and bookings are on a ‘first come first served’ basis.

The crèche is limited to children aged 6 months to 5 years old.

All our programmes, courses and crèche services are free but subject to specific eligibility criteria.
